five (5) 'O' Level subjects passes at credit level to including English language and Mathematics, with credits in three other science subjects, preferably Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Agricultural Science and Chemistry at the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent may be considered at the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSC), at least a credit in Physics.

Direct Entry Mode
For direct entry, candidates must have: At least five SSC- credit passes, two of which must be at the Advanced Level or A minimum of merit grade in University/National Diploma, NCE in any field is required. Or A pass at merit level in a relevant Diploma Programme (provided the O/L requirements are satisfied). Passes in Biology and any of Chemistry, Agricultural Science or Physics in the NCE. Passes in Biology and any of Chemistry, Agricultural science or Physics at the IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) examination or Cambridge Moderated Schools of Basic Studies Terminal Examinations
