The Directorate of Affiliated Institutions and Programmes oversees the coordination and management of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) Degree Programmes hosted at Emmanuel Alayande University of Education. This Directorate serves as a vital link between the College and EKSU, ensuring seamless academic collaboration and compliance with university standards.

The current and Pioneer of this directorate is Dr. Olusola Adediran is a distinguished academic and administrator affiliated with the Emmanuel Alayande University of Education (EAUED), Oyo, where he oversees the Directorate of Affiliated Institutions and Programmes (EKSU programmes).

The Directorate of Affiliated Institutions and Programmes at Emmanuel Alayande University of Education (EAUED), Oyo, manages the degree programs run in affiliation with Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti.

Before EAUED became a full-fledged university, it lacked the legal power to award its own degrees. To solve this, it partnered with EKSU to offer Bachelor’s degrees. While EAUED is now an independent university with its own degree programs, this Directorate continues to oversee the students and curricula associated with the EKSU partnership.

1. Leadership

The Directorate is led by Dr. Olusola Akintunde Adediran, who serves as the Director for the EKSU Affiliated Programmes (Isokun Campus). His role is to ensure that the standards, exams, and certifications of these programs meet the strict requirements of both EKSU and the National Universities Commission (NUC).

2. Core Responsibilities

The Directorate acts as the middleman between the two universities, handling:

• Admissions & Registration: Managing the screening and intake of students specifically for the EKSU-affiliated degree tracks.

• Examination Oversight: Coordinating the setting, invigilation, and marking of exams to ensure they align with EKSU's academic calendar and standards.

• Result Processing: Forwarding student results to EKSU for final approval by their Senate, ensuring that the degrees issued are valid EKSU certificates.

• Certification: Coordinating the issuance of statements of results and final certificates to graduates of the affiliated programs.

• Student Liaison: Serving as the primary point of contact for EKSU-affiliated students regarding their academic records, fees, and graduation status.

3. Location (Isokun Campus)

While most of EAUED's primary operations are at the Erelu Campus, this Directorate is heavily associated with the Isokun Campus (the university’s original site). Many of the affiliated lectures and administrative activities for the EKSU program are centered there.

4. Available Programmes

The programs under this directorate are primarily Bachelors of Education (B.Ed / B.Sc Ed / B.A Ed) in various fields, including:

• Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Integrated Science.

• Arts & Social Sciences: English, Yoruba, Religious Studies, Economics, Political Science, and Geography.

• Vocational/Technical: Business Education, Agricultural Science, and Home Economics.

5. Strategic Transition

As EAUED begins to admit its own students for its independent degree programs (under its new university status), this Directorate is gradually managing the "teach-out" phase for existing EKSU students. This ensures that everyone currently enrolled in the affiliated program can finish their degree and receive their EKSU certificate without any administrative issues.
