The Directorate of Research Management and International Programmes serves as the hub for advancing scholarly research and global academic collaboration at Emmanuel Alayande University of Education. The current and Pioneer of this directorate is Dr. Ademola Atanda a dynamic academic leader currently serving as the Director of the Research Management and International Programmes Directorate (RMIP) at Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo (EAUED).

The Directorate of Research Management and International Programmes (RMIP) at Emmanuel Alayande University of Education (EAUED), Oyo, is the office responsible for driving the university's academic visibility, research output, and global partnerships.

As EAUED transitions into a world-class university, this directorate ensures that the institution's knowledge is shared internationally and that staff are equipped for high-level scholarly work.

1. Leadership

The directorate is led by Dr. Ademola I. Atanda, a dynamic academic leader. Under his leadership, the directorate has focused on fostering a "culture of inquiry" and positioning the university as a hub for multidisciplinary research in Africa.

2. Core Responsibilities

The RMIP operates across two main pillars: Research Excellence and Global Linkages.

• Publication Management: The directorate oversees the EAUED Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (EAUED-JMS). This is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original research across fields like Education, Arts, Sciences, and Social Sciences.

• International Collaborations: It manages the university's "International Programmes," which include signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with foreign universities for student and staff exchange programs.

• Grant Management: The office assists faculty members in identifying and applying for external research grants, such as those from TETFund, international foundations, and NGOs.

• Ethics and Integrity: It ensures that all research conducted under the university's name follows strict ethical guidelines, especially regarding data collection and human participants.

• Conference Coordination: The directorate encourages and facilitates the participation of EAUED researchers in national and international conferences to network and present their findings.

3. Recent Initiatives

The directorate has recently been active in addressing global challenges through academic training and reporting. For example:

• Climate Change Projects: It has led training and reports on climate change effects (such as the CESDA project) to ensure the university community is at the forefront of environmental sustainability research.

• Multidisciplinary Discourse: It actively promotes research that intersects different fields, such as "ICT in Basic Technology" or "Green Practices in Public Libraries," to solve local and regional problems in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

4. Strategic Importance

For a rising university, the RMIP is the "Global Face." By managing international programs, it improves the university's Webometric Ranking and ensures that EAUED degrees are respected by international institutions for postgraduate admissions and professional certifications.
